off topic... Should O2 sensor be replaced after 100K miles or just wait after the fail? I have 130K+ miles now.

Id personally wait until the heater element in o2 malfunctions...
ML55 AMG 2002

With regard the heater element, i recently had the check engine light come on and the fault codes i got were P0150, P0150, P0155, P0300, P0305 and P0307... the brief description i've found on the web are:
P0150 02 Sensor Circuit Malfunction (Bank 2 Sensor I)
P0155 02 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 2 Sensor 1)

is this a case of just replacing the o2 sensor or if it is a problem with the heater circuit what would i do? since having the codes read the CEL has gone out and not come back on yet although i've only done about 100 miles since...

Regards, Sam

Im not sure i understand perfectly what u mean...

But the heater element is integrated to the o2 sensor itself, 99% of the time replacing the o2 sensor will rectified the problem. Parts numbers can be tricky tho, specially if you go not original benz part. (not saying they aint good, just many different numbers).

...

I was looking at the EPC the other day and found out there was a special note on my rear right o2 sensor saying number shoud be interchange, but when i looked under another truck, i found out that number was the same...anyway...
