No bashing please, just want your honest opinion. I have a slightly modded slk230 and would like to know if it would be wrong to place two brabus badges on the car. One on the trunk and one on the hood. All the other badges have been removed already. Also the center caps for the wheels. Thanks guys

I won't, i'm very picky about what i do to my car. Any work or mods i do is tastefully done in order to keep it looking nice.

Here's a list of the mods, nothing special.

Over size intercooler/hoses
removed the gunsight from the MAF
removed the screen from the T/B
color matched roll over bars
rear spoiler
H&R springs
drilled&sloted rotors w/ceramic pads
removed baffle from blower intake manifold
black projector headlights
smoked foggers/directional lights (side mirror)
smoked side marker lights
clk grille
de badged the car
more to come when i have the funds

You would not get them anyway m8, the ones on ebay are not for the slk.

The Brabus slk badges are shaped front and back to fit the trunk and hood:thumbsup:

I liked the brabus look but was unsure if i should put them on the car, hence this thread. I also like the car better clean. I'm not a big fan of bling, the cleaner the better. I do still have the star on the trunk and grille, might get rid of the grille star soon. I also still have the OEM wheels which i can't stand, i'm not sure what i'm going to do with them yet. I'm thinking black with a little red to match the car.

It is your car and you drive it. Do what you want to it. I have the OEM Brabus hand brake cover so does this mean I am allowed to have Brabus badges on my car boys? I have a bead on a pair of OEM Brabus door sills so will this give me more street cred. I have an OEM Brabus shift knob from Papa as a gift but only so he can brag my wife plays with his knob each day. Does this allow me to have the badges. I have OEM Brabus center caps.

Papa is right about the OEM trunk and hood badges on Ebay. Remember that Brabus also has the Brabus badge that goes just aft of the doors! But get a permission slip from the forum 1st.
It is your car and if you have to ask these guys then grow some balls!
