I have a 95 E320 wagon that i bought fairly recently and the inspection is almost up. I took it to one shop for the inspection and they could not figure out how to disable the traction control for the emmsions test. Is there a simple way to do this or can anyone reccommend a good shop in westchester county NY?
Thanks

Cars with traction control are exempt from the "roller" test I believe. Instead they do it the old way. Who are these bozos you went to?

Quote from DMV:

"Vehicles that have a model year earlier than 1981 and a weight of more than 8,500 pounds, or that have full-time traction control or all-wheel drive equipment, receive an idle speed tailpipe test only."
