i had the cold start problem with my 92' 300e, so i changed the ovp and the mas control module. one of them helped, car starts up great now ,but the idle is 1300-1500 rpm at all times.what can i do now? please help...

did you try disconnecting the battery to rest the computer? try backing off the throttle cable a little. If not I second the last post.

i did disconnect the battery, if there is a vacuum leak how do i fix that?
Shops have a propane test probe , when the leak "sucks" in the gas the engines rpm jumps . The poor mans version is spray cleaner - carb - brake - throttle body cleaner . Again spraying a suspected area for an RPM change .

Have you tried adjusting the idle speed adjuster thing ( sorry not very techinical) that is accessed through the top of the Air Box (at least on my CE300-24v)? Maybe this was previoulsy adjusted too high to combat the issues you solved with the OVP?.

yes Simon i was thinking the same thing.i did not try it yet because i am waiting for my mechanic friend but then it will be the first thing we'll try
