Both rear (left and right) seat belts in my 02 ML don't retract without some help.
They've been this way since I bought the ML.
Was wondering if there was anything I could do to get them to work a little better short of buying new ones at nearly $300 per side.
By the way, ML has not been in any accidents.

The only way you will find the problem is investigating it yourself. Remove the covers on the pillar and you will see that the belt is twisted in the guide.

That never even occured to me.

If you have any problems removing the panels or the belts let me know. I just pulled mine out the other day when removing other parts from my 55 that im parting. I can help ya out if need be.
