I pulled the driver's seat out. There are several broken springs inside the lower part of the seat (causing a loss of support on the left side of the seat). I thought about taking it to a professional upholsterer, but I figure with the broken springs it will run into $$ to get fixed. There is a hole and splitting at the seam on the upper part of the seat also.

I have found several seats (used) listed various places with fairly close color matches to the (I think it's called Palomino) MB. Wondering if I can easily swap out the seats (preferably BOTH front and rear to get a better appearance.

Wondering if anyone has done this (or run into problems with doing it)?

If I can get nice enough seats, it would make the interior look much better (along with a good carpet cleaning, etc).

Thanks!!

You'll need the brackets that attach the seat to the floor mounting points. Recaro and Sparco might have the brakets, or they can be custom made by a metal shop.
