My 190D 2.5 has developed a noisy drive shaft. Passengers complain of vibrations when at low revs in high gears. Car is 14 years old, 150k UK miles. Checked oil in rear diff and ok.<br> Any idea what problem is?<br>

Check the mount and bearing and check the drive shaft discs at both ends. With luck, one or more of those items may be responsible.
