We have a 1999 E320 4 matic wagon. When starting in below freezing conditions I have noticed a constant loud tone that eminates from the dash above the glovebox and lasts less than a minute.
Does any one know what this sound is? I have only heard it a couple times in the last year. Here in Nothern California it rarely freezes.
