Hello,
I have a 1985 SL380. It will not start, did several test and noticed spark plugs are super wet. Upon crank fuel is spitting out from piston. Any Idea what would be causing this? Car had bad fuel and been sitting for 4 years. Fuel was replaced and drained system. Disconnected Fuel inlet line car started temporally. Hooked back up only cranks no start. I have spark and fuel.

It means that engine is so flooded that raw gasoline is expelled from cylinders.
This is a "drive by" post.

Perhaps your fuel distributor is stuck. Have you looked at the air meter? Verify it has a normal stance.
