I lost power on my s320 cdi, car is not in limpmode, could it be a turbo problem?
Please help needed, suggestions welcome.

Hi,

CDI Motors can have a lot of faults stored without putting the CEL on.

Sometimes the motor can go into limp without having a light or message on the dash.

Get it read on SDS, (nothing else will give us the full picture), then we can advise you further :wink

Most CDI power loss faults are related to EGR or Turbo Actuator, but don't just throw parts at it, you can spend $$$$$$$$k and still not have found a $50 problem :wink

Hi,

Cheers :beerchugr:

Another thing with the CDI's, DO NOT keep driving them with a problem, soot formation can quickly escalate the original single problem into literally $1000's of coked up parts that will then need replacement to make it all well again :wink

HTH,

Cheers Dave
