Yeah, I'm sure that's exactly what happened here.
A guy pulled into my bud's shop with a 2000 or so Chevy pickup. It was electric blue with running boards, mags, tinted glass, etc. Oh yeah, the doors were kicked in and every body panel was keyed with deep x-shaped scratches.
As the guy (who I had never met before) walked in I asked "So, whose wife have you been f$%&@#?" The guy just laughed and said yeah, you sure got that one right. A woman he had met in a bar told him that she was separated. Well it turned out she wasn't quite as "separated" as she thought she was...

Pretty low selling price. Don't know if it is worth fixing, but some body shop or mercedes shop might want it for the parts. I'll bet the engine is worth close to 7 grand.
