Hello everyone!

I just bought a '00 S600 of an auction and I'm facing some mayor problems with the electrics. Nothing electric seems to work. Alarm, all buttons on the steering wheel, sunroof, trunk, cooling fan, all don't work. I looked at most fuses but all seem to be fine (left/right/passenger/backseat), could this be a relais or a prefuse problem that I'm missing or could it be something completely different?

Engine runs, lights are (broken but) fine, airsuspention is (leaking over time) but works, so I do have some electrics that work. And before I start tearing up the innerlining of my backseats (had some moist in the trunk but the module seems to be dry) or the carpets of passenger (prefuse) side I would like to be sure i'm looking in the wrong direction.

anyone any idea??

I'm assuming you have several malfunctions displayed on the cluster. Did you press the R button on the bottom right to make them go away before trying the steering wheel buttons? I assumed my buttons were broken for the longest time before figuring that out.

It’s most likeLy a fuse or SAM problem caused by water damage

pull up carpet and look at prefuse connector. For rust on nuts . Clean and dry under carpet

pull off rear seat bottom there are two latches , one on each side and it comes out. Check rear sam under rear seat for water damage
