I have a 1995 S420 that I have retired and want to reuse the a/c compressor for something else. I was wondering if anyone on the list have tested the speed sensor on this compressor and can tell me what the signal is that it generates. I don't own an oscilloscope so I can't just look at the signal output. I found a reference on the web for the speed sensor output signal on a Nippondenso 10PA17c used in the 95 E320. Can anyone help?

Thanks Myarmar, but I'm actually looking to find out what the generated voltage signal looks like on the output. If I can, I want to match this for another use. ie, does it send out a sine voltage wave of x peak volts matched to its rpm cycle?
