Newbie considering CLK 430 AMG quick question

I'm looking at selling my Porsche Carrera and considering a CLK 430 (like the wife's E320, more room, etc). What are the upgrades with the AMG model? Are they just the rims and aero parts, or are there other performance upgrades i.e. suspension, exhaust, etc? Thanks for any info.

The 430 version sports the "regular V8" (275hp); aero kit, AMG wheels (Staggered front/rear), and sport suspension/exhaust to accomodate the weight/character of the V8. Moreover, the interior is upgraded with a few interior tidbits to distance itself from the 320 version. If you're looking for a more "sporting" ride (closer parameters with your porsche, but not quite on the same level) you may want to consider the CLK 55 AMG.

People get this wrong a lot. The TRUE ///AMG is the one that includes the suspension and engine work. The only TRUE CLK that fits that model is the CLK55. They have 342HP/375Torque in the '01/'02 models (Zero to sixty in 4.9 seconds). ALL 430's have the AMG body moldings (that's it). Of course, the 430 has the REGULAR 270HP V8 engine whereas the 320's have no AMG body molding and run a 6-banger. All these cars are nice, luxurious sport coupe but only the CLK55 can hang with the porsches & Corvettes. If your interested in the 55, then take a look at my current auction on eBay...
