I know that some people even go as far as switching to steelies for winter time, but i'd like to get new wheels for my new car ASAP, as i simply don't like the stock ones. I'm only gonna drive it for one (maximum two) winters, so correct me if i'm wrong, but i believe there would be little or no damage to my wheels as long as i wash my car often (which i do, twice a week). All that being said, is there anything i'm unaware of or wrong about here? I'd hate to end up with severely damaged wheels after only one winter.

If you have a sport sedan you are not going to want to drive in winter at all with the stock tires....nevermind the wheels

what type of car do you have?

try a search - this has been talked about some....
