1。in so far as the stereo/NAV system. Your best bet is to purchase a pioneer head unit along with a sooche adapter sleeve and a wire harness adapter kit.
2. The missing piece on the bumper is the cover for the trailer hitch. You can get those on eBay for about 35 bucks brand new, but they are not painted so a body shop will have to paint it to match.
3. Make sure you get the pioneer head unit that has Apple play capability. This way you can have NAV through your iPhone if you have an iPhone.
4. The pioneer and components necessary to install them can be easily found online.

As to head unit any of the name brands are going to be fine, they all have gotten so much better in 20 years. Folks have even put in rogue brands off of eBay and claim great results. Thing that will limit you the most is if you want a cd slot?

I went with a jvc single din in a w126 it sounds great. Even with stock speakers.
Most importantly pick 3 brands and read buyers reviews

I have not tried it yet probably will this spring on the 05

if you want to keep the Boise amp you may what to have a look here;

Ok the one that I have was a Xmas gift from my wife. It doesn’t have Apple Car Play. However it does have a CD/DVD slot, and an iPod input which I use with an iPod Nano with a hidden USB Cable. It also has an integrated input for a backup camera. I have the camera but I need to pay a stereo shop to install it. I will also be upgrading to add a 1500 Watt amplifier. I also will be adding 4 additional tweeters. I have replaced the front speakers with upgraded MB Quartz units.

I initially used the above install kit and found it to be flimsy and the tabs on the cover break easily. Someone on this site recommended the
Metra 99-7503 2003-2005 Mazda 6 Installation Dash Kit
and it fits a lot better...kind of amazing how it perfectly matches the W163 opening.

Good luck!

Are you sure that’s the correct number to fit that vehicle? It looks totally different.
