I own a 1984 380SE w/ 162k miles. I was a member of MBCA for 8 years in the Gateway Section and did the newsletter for a few of those years. I graduated from Ranken Technical College in 1976 in the Diesel/Gasoline Engine Technology program, first in class. Spent ten years doing custom installation of Onan generator sets in a wide variety of vehicles in Long Beach CA. Now I rebuild houses one at a time. I had a 1984 190D for 11 years and 120k miles on top of the 100k it had when I bought it. Did all the maintenance on the 190, and bought my 380 in the mid '90s w/ 90k miles on the odometer. I continue to do all the maintenance on all my vehicles, including a Ducati SS & my wife's Suzuki bandit.
I am searching for a manual for the 380SE, paper version, so I can rebuild the power steering pump and steering box. I have some factory manuals for the W201 I once owned, maybe trade? Chassis & Body, Electrical Troubleshooting & Engine 601 Service Manual.
