So my Michelenes are about done. I got 50k out of them. Still could get about 4-5 k more, but its getting loud, and one tire is way worse than the others. I never rotate them.

Anyway, I have picked through the threads that have "tires" in them, and decided to go with the Continental Xtreme WDS, but...they do not make them in my tire size. I have 235/65/17'S. So, I went back to Tire Rack website and found lots of great comments about owners who bought Continentals Cross Contact LX20's, with Eco Plus technology.

Supposed to be super quiet, very good alll weather, and even good performance in snow and rain. And....only $139.00 each. I drive about 25-30k a year, almost all straight line driving, 1/2 highway, and half highway like, with lights through a few towns. No city driving at all.

Anyone had these exact tires? Most of the owners who gave their recommendations had Jeep Grand Cherokees, Toyota FJs, Pathfinders, etc...

I'm happy with Continental ProContact With EcoPlus on my Prius. When time comes for ML tires I'll give strong consideration to Continental whatever with EcoPlus that fits.

They wear evenly, stay round and in balance, and quiet. More traction dry and wet than the OE tires from Goodyear. Appear to be wearing as good or better too.
