I didn't think there were any new questions about our airmatic, but that's a new one for me. I don't know the answer but think the car will not remain level w/ a lot of weight in the trunk...

Airmatic has ride height sensors. If you load your car so that it is too low, while the car is off, it will sense that it is low when you start, and raise the height back to the proper level. It may also adjust the height with the ignition off.

All depends on what you are talking about weight. Normal weight 2 or 3 passengers with luggage? Like skylaw said the sensors will keep vehicle to the programed height. But if you put a ton of dirt or something that should go in a pickup truck. you are going to do alot more that just offset the height.

For one thing, you can raise and lower the car using Airmatic, which would affect headlights. And, the raise feature is automatically cancelled if you meet certain driving criteria.
