I'm all for lowering the car and adding some wider tires and rims.

I think it would look outstanding with some AMG Monoblocks' and some 225 - 245 tires.

Blacking out the grill would look nice too.

If you want a "facelift" on your car, I would go for the following:

Color-match your rear vew mirrors, bumpers & body panels.
Black our your grill, and if you ask me, color match the chrome on your grill (imo)
Clear or smoked corners and rear taillights
17" AMG 3 piece or 18" aeros 1 or 2 piece wheels with some WIDE tires
H&R suspension drop with a pad swap to correctly lower the front with the rear.

you can maybe even add a spoiler "lip" to the trunk.....etc.

Beautiful! Nautical blue is just about the perfect color for the Euro W126s. I love the blue-grey lower valence panels/bumpers. We want pics of the interior, too.

Aside from your license plate not centered, your car is perfect (but you know that already )! With only 36k miles, originality and class is what your car exudes. Don't change anything.
