Hello all,

I've just acquired a new-to-me 1984 300Sd turbo :)

I'd been looking for almost a year for preferably a 300D or maybe a
300SD. This 300SD just popped up a few weeks ago and I couldn't
resist. The body is near perfect with only a few tiny door dings, the
interior is old but the seats aren't ripped. The engine was a little
doggy, but I found the alda cable disconnected when I got in home
and that made a huge difference in performance.

My major problems right now are that the left headlight verticle adjustment
is missing, the right turn signal is not working, and the speedo is dead.
But I'll ask about those in the appropriate forum.

The teeth on the plastic gears in the speedo cluster are often broken in these old things. They are readily available and the cluster comes out easily, just make sure to disconnect the battery first, it's easy to cause a short or give yourself a little jolt back there I hear. Welcome!
