I drive a 1979 240D on my daily 120 mile round trip commute. I bought the car 3 years ago. Had to have the engine replaced with a used one when son let if run hot. Other than that, no big problems, just things that I wish I could fix but do not know how. Such as:
door locks --valcum system
passenger widow artitulator broken in two.
manual transmission linkage sometimes gets stuck
needs winshield
needs minor body work and paint
