Well I'm a new Forum member and new to Mercs after being convinced by my good lady wife to trade in my trusty Audi for a Vito Duoliner so she can use it for her business.
OK, it's a beautiful machine. Great to drive, a dream on the open roads, very practicle and has loads of grunt in the 3.0L. But alas. I've had it 6 weeks and its been back to the dealer no less than 3 times. It's in there now for some work to investigate why it suddenly went into limp mode (the second time).
Well maybe I'm not skint as it's all done on warranty but I would be. A new steering lock, new keys, new barrel, new interior panels that fell off, new pressure sensor and now possibly a new EGR valve. I have to confess that when I drive it I do so in the full belief that it will break down each time. Not the sort of confidence one wants.
But, and here's the big but (make your own jokes here) I love it despite all its faults and wouldn't want to get rid of it.
