Hello,

I'm happy to have found you folks. I've been working towards this goal for a while and finally recently purchased a '71 4-sp 280SL (113.044). It came with the Owner's Manual, and some other nice stuff, but no shop manual. I searched around on the Web trying to find chassis, electrical, engine, or injection shop manuals (or all of them in one) for the Type 130.983 engine and/or Type 113.044 chassis with no luck at all. What technical information is out there for these cars? That injection system appears to be mechanical, is there info on it out there? Thanks for your help with this.

Ron, thanks for the welcome.

I would like to get, if possible, the factory origional shop and parts manuals on CD. I looked on Amazon.com and this website, but no luck. Where can I purchase the CD(s)?
Thanks,
Will

MB Classic Center is publishing a lot of that stuff again. Contact them. They always have a full page ad in the STAR magazine.

I've found the Haynes manual to be better than the CD, and I have to wonder if the 'real' factory manuals are more detailed. Are they?

You've got those nifty exploded views your website, where are they from?

Thanks,
-Matt

I found a BBB and a Dealer parts manual. I agree, the Haynes manual is helpful and worth the cost. Thanks everyone for the help.
