Hi everyone, I have just joined your community, and i'm hoping to share information with some of the tech guys on here, I am a qualified technician with almost 20 years in the trade, I have been an MOT tester for over 10 years, I've never worked for a dealership, only independant garages therefore my knowledge of Mercedes vehicles may be more limited than those MB technicians, (hence my main reason for joining, to hopefully learn a bit more about my own car, a CLK 230 K)
Anyway, that said, i hope to bump into some of you in the forums.

Join us with your knowledge on the W208/9 forums. I have an MB WIS on DVD here that covers most models up to 2005/6, if you ever need specific details. It does not include component part numbers, but has torques, and workshop procedures with diagrams, photos, etc. :thumbsup:

Thats very handy to know, I might be in touch, much appreciated, I do have a specific "stuck in 1st gear" problem with the clk at the moment, ive posted the problem in the forum but it can wait until the ice melts, the Vito's still running well so thats my transport at the moment. think were in for another cold spell down here in hemel...perfect!
