Here in the USA there is a national shortage of lots of things - RVs on seriously long back orders, Appliances are in short supply, etc. The supply chain has been seriously disrupted by the Corvid-19 thing. I went to Lowes and Home Depot this week looking for some PVC parts for an electrical job where I want to get power to my new RV carport and many needed little parts are just not available.

Lumber pricing seems high to me too.
4x8 OSB sheathing 7/16" thick is $25, 2x4 96" studs $5.
When I built my garage 4x8 OSB was something like $5/sheet and I remember after I finished same OSB went to $10 and I thought that was high. Course I am old enough to remember when 2x4's were 50 cents each :)
