Hi everybody
i'm new here. I have an 190 automatic and an 190 E 2.6 automatic just recently imported from germany to The Netherlands. during my search for the right 2.6 i came across this EVOII and I thought I should share this and perhaps make somebody happy. If somebody is going to buy this car and lives not to far from The Netherlands i would like to get a ride in this machine as a thank you :D

WOW - topprijs voor een Baby Benz

It's very nice example, but if I had 100,000 EUR (or US 155,000) to spend on a car....
BtW it will be too tough to get it road legal in the USA anyways. For that money I could buy 10 used E500s (W124):D

Second that - by the way, welcome to Benzworld! You will find a wealth of info and luckily we are nice enough (at least most of us) to help you out with any issues.
Where in NL do you live? I always wanted to buy a used W201 (most of them were Diesels and quite worn out), but the taxes and all that made me keep my trusty MkII Golf till I moved to the US (I'm a born and raised Rotterdam kid).... I bought a 2.3 that became my daily driver for 4 years.

ruudje,

You have a typical dutch name. I live in Zwolle and work in Amsterdam as an Searchengine Marketeer. People from Rotterdam are known te be direct and honest. My father was Born in Rotterdam.

Prices in Holland and Germany are going up and especially for low milage 201 cars. I hope i will get a dutch plate in my new 2.6 next week. I'm going to sell my other 201 an elfenbein 190.

by the way if anybody wants an evo2 in pristine condition i guess this is the best in the market
