I just replaced the becker unit and speaker in my 88 TE. Paid my indy to do it rather than circuit city. I expected he would not connect it to the dreaded fader switch but he did. Now with the fader set to neutral only the front speakers work. When I fade it back (using the center console switch) I have to use the headunit fader and put that significantly up favoring the front speakers to get balance. Should I be satisfied with this outcome or ask them to rewire? They charged $200 for the install so I would like it to be correct.

Well I do installs for a living and I would have charged $120 Labor + parts (speaker wire) and ran all of the leads fresh from radio....

Thanks for the input. I will ask them to do a proper job. After all, I'm a good customer.
