Good, now how about some pics?Decided that I wanted to dress up the front-end of my new car and ordered a set of black projector angle-eyed headlights. Got them in a couple of days ago and decided to smoke them a little ( went heavy on the clear-coat, those headlights take a lot of abuse.). Installed those suckers tonight and it was a little bit tougher than I thought it would be but I figured out. It would of been a hundred times worse if it hadn't been for the D.I.Y's I picked up around here. Thanks guys.

It would look better to keep the outer lense clear and paint the inside chrome parts of the headlights. I know the new projectors are hard to get apart but it looks like overspray instead of intentional.
I'd have to agree with E-Klasse. I think it would look better to paint the inside of the headlight instead of the outside. The headlights are too pretty to cloud a clear view of them

Yeah, I'll admit they didn't quite turn out the way I had hoped. Any thoughts on how to remove that spray on tint without completely trashing the lens?

Buy a metal polish called Never Dull. We used it in the Navy and you can use it on any surface. We used it on the light covers to get off the paint. It will not damage the plastic and it will even polish up the lense covers. It is the most amazing stuff. You can buy it at Home Depot or any store like Auto Zone or Pep Boys.

Yes the never dull works amazing. I used it on many cars and it always comes out great.
