Hello all,
Been enjoying this forum for the last few weeks. I bought a 1991 300ce and have been gorging myself on the great info provided by this site. I've always been a BMW person but have come to really appreciate the fine Benz automobile. The clincher was this coupe and the situation. The coupe has ALWAYS caught my eye as a truly unique and beautiful car. I think of it as a design that really is masculine without any girly qualities. Def not a chic car
Misogyny aside I found a silver example that needs a LF fender, headlight door, and front bumper. (Yes, its the one that was listed on this site, but I found it CL) I'm in Poughkeepsie,NY and would like to purchase the parts from a fellow lister nearby if possible. So, thanks for the help the list has provided and I've noticed an excellent camaraderie here that's lacking sometimes on other forums, so Bravo!

Here's great u-pull-it place also in MD. Might be worth your drive down here - last I visited he had lots of W124s and W123s from the Cash for Clunkers program. Sad, but true.

From the base of the windshield forward, the coupes are the same as any W124 except the 500E/E500 and the right front fender louvers on diesel's. You'll want to look for 124's from 90 up to get the correct fit for the lower cladding. This will broaden the horizion for your search. Headlight doors are easily replaced and can be found on ebay as singles or a better buy in pairs. I would suggest replacing both so they match.

The coupes, especially with the M104.98 motors, are great cars. I recently sold mine after 5 years of ownership.
