Hi All,
I went about this site by using it prior to joining it. The folks here share their expertise and some of them are real pros. If you wrench on your car yourself, you explain your problem, and ask for a solution. Many have had the same problem and you can use the parts suppliers they tell you about here. For me, it has been a big time saver.

My cars usually don't act up but they are machines and they are old. My newest is a 91 560 with 220,000 plus miles and still strong. It has had the transmission rebuilt a few years ago by Silver Star up in Oklahoma City. It is now like new. The compression was top notch around 5000 miles ago, and I expect it still is. Cap, rotor and wires were replaced. The fuel pump relay was just changed. A few years ago the cam chains and tensioners were replaced.

This car runs better than a new car. It drives better than a brand new rental car, and has more room.

I am a big fan of older MB. I have two of em.

Welcome to Benzworld, the older MB range were true MB.
