Just checking in to introduce myself. This is my second MB and I have been lurking the forums long enough.
Thanks to you guys for the sticky section and great archive of info. It saved me a ton of money so far.

I am normally a Ford/Lincoln guy (been a tech for them for years) but always had a soft spot for MB.

If I can help any of you out with my area of expertise don't hesitate to ask.

Welcome from here too MrBiggs. Several of us have cars other than MB so someone with knowledge of American cars might prove quite helpful. For example I have a '94 (pre-OBD2 of course) Plymouth Acclaim.

WELCOME!!!!! One of these days, when I loose my head, I will buy an American car, then I'll be bothering the hell out of you!:D

Actually I like the 1969 Mustang's and the 1981 Corvettes. IMO, pretty much everything these days the BIG 3 are putting out is bland and unexciting to me and there is always a better Japanese option.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys.

Not sure if I agree with Cancer Researcher about domestic cars being bland compared to Japanese cars. Toyota and Honda sure make some A to B appliances. :D

I am partial to American cars but I still consider myself a car enthusiast and like to taste all flavors German / American / Japanese.
I feel if you are blind to one product or make you can really miss some nice rides.

As far as working on the W210. Its a nice change of pace and is a easy car to work on. I really like the way this car is put together.
