I have recently ordered and installed a new GPS antenna ; soldering the stripped fiber obtic connections as well as possible; have good connections yet am still not finding any satellites since the change-out even after letting the system remain off for long periods of time. It was actually finding satellites much better with the old broken antenna.

Any suggestions on this ? I'm wondering if the nav system needs to be restarted somehow to recognize a new antenna ? Not exactly sure what to try next.
