After a 3 month wait, my E250 arrived. Lunar blue, Black MB-Tex, Premium, Lighting, and Sport package. Relatively lightly equipped, but exactly as I wanted. Kudos to Mercedes-Benz of Houston North for a fantastic experience.

I've only driven it for one day, but am really enjoying it! More thoughts to come once I've had a chance to get to know the car.

2015 Lunar blue E250BT

Congrats on your new E250BT ! It looks very smart ! Lunar blue is a relatively rare colour. I have no doubt that you will really enjoy your E250BT for many years; it's such a great all-round car !

Congratulation,
Wife just got her new E250 day before you at Mercedes Greenway in Houston. Driving home on a 100 mile trip, computer was showing we averaged 44.4 mpg. We did have it averaging 46.3 mpg for about ten miles with cruise set at 70,but then stopped for breakfast and left the interstate so we lost some milage. And I was happy with 34 mpg with our e320 cdi. This is a fantastic car. Can't believe it's a 4 banger.

Some of the smaller displacement diesel W212s available in Europe with 6-speed manual transmissions can average 50+mpg, perhaps even 60+ if really babied!

It continues to baffle me how we don't have these choices available here.

Ha. i asked if they could order a 6 speed manual, but the answer was no. Honestly, the 7 speed automatic is quite good.

I don't doubt it's good, but it all comes down to personal preference for me!

I'm ordering a truck here soon with a 6-speed :D

After you put on few thousand miles, you'll be seeing 50 MPG and the baby is going smoother also. Yes, you'll be asking "is it really 4 banger?" Enjoy it. You have made an intelligent choice.
Thanks, I am really thrilled with the car. I have received many compliments - especially on the color! :)

50mpg sounds great! I filled up yesterday for the first time since taking delivery (Mar 3) - I calculated 32.2mpg! Plus, diesel is about 10c less expensive than Supreme that I had been using. I think the sound of the diesel engine is intoxicating and it feels so powerful at such low RPMs... love being able to overtake someone without it having to downshift!

Despite what many folks have said, I feel the seats are fine. I must admit that my 2009 BMW 328i sport package seats were slightly more comfortable, but I'm satisfied with the MB seats.

Bi-LED headlights are excellent - I am really glad I insisted that I get those.

Does anyone know if it is possible to show the iPhone contact list in COMAND in First Name Last Name format, rather than Last Name, First Name? My salesman said it was not possible, but thought I'd ask if any of you have done it.

Sounds like you are very happy with your new E250BT ! :grin

When you drive your car on a long distance trip (6-10 hrs. per day), you will really appreciate the long term comfort of your seats, not to mention the incredible range on a tank of fuel ! I agree with you that the full LED light package is well worth it !
