New direct fuel injection V8 and 6.3L AMG V8 for MY 2008

According to Motor Trend, the new V8 will be direct fuel injected implemented in the flagship S series and in a separate release MT confirmed a 6.3L NA engine in the AMG M series.

Very far off... I'll have at least a good 2 years out of my car by the time the VERY FIRST 63's would come out.

And even then they probably won't be very commong until another year later.

If you can wait for one, cool, but meanwhile all the other SLK owners will be happy driving their 200/350/55/280's... [:)]
