I had ordered some new Crystal clear corner light for my car and after reading all the comments here I was kind of nervous about what I was going to receive. I got them today and installed them. Well, guys I'm very happy with them. Comparing them side to side with the Bosch they are exact replica. They fit just as nice, tight and solid. I removed them twice to make sure they held in place correctly and they are. No complain at all. Nothing cracked or broke when installing/removing.

I got them from CASAKEYTW on eBay.

Ive been looking for a pair myself and got a pair a couple days ago which were VERY poorly made, so much so that the seller even admitted they are not very good. These look identical to what I bought Mercedes R129 Crystal Clear Corner Lights SL320 SL500 500SL 300SL SL Class | eBay. You feel the ones you bought are really high quality? Any pics with them on the car?

Looking at the pics closely right next to the clear corners I bought, theyre the same units. Im surprised you like them, I couldnt leave them on for an hour. Glad youre happy with them though. Mine are going back for a refund

Sir, might I ask which headlight units you have? Those clear one pieces are exactly what Im looking for and look a heck of a lot better with those clear corners too!

I can't tell you exactly what they are because they were on the car when I bought it. The PO told me they were euro headlamps. I know they are glass lenses without the plastic trim around them. I'm sure someone here will tell you whay they are.

i want those so bad. A gentleman on this forum pointed me to a set of the drivers side like those, ut I cant find a matching set for both sides. Theyre also not cheap. Theyre gorgeous!

@Muti007 those are the euro headlights. Contact the seller to see if he has both sides available. For some reason he only seems to post on side but can get both if you request it. Just make sure you contact him first to check availability .

could you guys suggest a place to get a Euro right side front flasher?

I have a ex-Japan R129 and I'm having a very hard time finding the correct part on this side of the ocean.

The Bosch number on the current 1 is 1 315 106 915. I haven't been able to find an MB exchange yet...

@yatzee I'm guessing you mean the lens located on the fender correct? Since it was never on the U.S. cars you may have to source it from overseas. Try German eBay.

Pete, are you certain this isnt the kind that would then fit into the plastic frame but a true one piece?

Just heard back from the local dealer - over $100 for the lens - 7-10 days for them to get it. Not great, but the car needs to pass a safety so I'm short on choice

Yeah pretty certain. If you look it has 4 pin connectors instead of the 3 found on US models. Also it doesn't have the funky zig zag looking thing in the corner.

Thanks brother. So even though the pin config is different, it should work on my 98? If I have to buy what Im looking for piecemeal Ill do that.

The "extra" connector is for the city light bulb. I did some light re wiring and have the corners for turn signal only and I have the city lights lighting up instead of the corners when on low beam.
