Hello all. I just registered and wanted to intro as per proper forum etiquette. My '96 C280 has been in our family since new. My dad bought it as a gift for himself and my mom when I graduated college (well, a couple years after), loved it so much they bought a 2000 C280 which they hated and sold shortly thereafter but they kept the '96. Put a little over 200k on it and sold it to me last year when my daughter was looking for a car to replace her VW Cabrio. My folks babied this thing its entire life so I knew the maintenance history was solid.
Its got a couple of niggling problems, the CEL is on and throwing a P0325 & P0420 code so I will likely need some diagnostic help in the very near future, but otherwise it is a very solid fun car.
