Hey folks, winter is here and it's more than time to get my heater up to snuff. My heat was only working when I was driving and not at idle which led to my diagnosis of a failed heater pump. With my new one on the way I remembered reading somewhere on here about a recommendation to splice in a fuse to the pumps hot line. Is this necessary? if so what size should I splice in?
-thanks, Dude99

The in-line fuse modification is not necessary on cars equipped with a ACC servo(ACCII). That was for ACCIII, which had the series of horizontal push buttons.

Somewhere under the dash is a temp sensor for the aux water pump, however im sure it is all wired through the actually servo unit itself.
