HI there... I have a fear that the car I bought last week wasn't what it was advertised as. I bought a 2007 MB E320 CDI and it is a beautiful machine with 22k miles on it but is it a Bluetec? Also, I researched the VIN on this site and the results said the car was manufactured in 04. Have I been hoodwinked? I got a tremendous deal on it, the dealer dropped 10k on the price at my first request. If this is an older car, that would explain it. Plus they paid for the last three months of my BMW lease to get me out of it. IF this isn't what was advertised, I am going to return it, which I can because it is MB certified, within seven days. I would hate to think that I have been ripped off!

Also, anyone in Chicago, where can I get ULSD fuel? I live in the northern suburbs and work downtown.

Cheers and thanks everyone.

DY

2004 will have an inline six engine, 2007 will have V6 engine...at least thats how it is over here in Europe.

It is common that the models for new model year start leaving assembly lane in late summer year before, but there is no way the 2007 model can leave the factory in 2004.
Check the car label on door pillar, or better yet post a picture in here.
ULSD is the only diesel available in CA from about 3 years and I think it might be standard in IL from at least couple of years.
