I'm with you, I have over 6500 miles and have no major issues. Anything little that I had was corrected including my power liftgate. It is a joy to drive and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a Lux SUV. I get nothing but compliments from everyone and anyone I had driving with me only praises the performance.

I have 10,000+ miles on my 06 ML350 and I must say it has been flawless! It is by far the best vehicle I have ever owned. So lets hear from other satisfied owners, instead of only the rants that some owners seem to post.[
Mine has 7500 Miles on it, since June 05. This being my first MB I was little skeptical, but it has been wonderful vehicle, cant complain.
It still get all the compliments and praises from my co-workers and family members each and everytime they ride in the car.
Following are the features that I really like:
1. Looks, Appearance Package does the trick on ML350
2. Entertaintment Package with iPod Integration, awesome sound and convenience of controlling IPod thru Steering Wheel controls
3. Drive: I dont have Airmatic Package but the drive and handling is great
4. Comfort: Excellent Seats, Heated Seats, Rain Sensing Wipers, Auto Lights... everything works as it should be. What more you can ask from a 1st Gen Vehicle.

I agree with everybody on how MB quality has improved greatly.
It’s time to bring my ML350 in for the first 2000, 3000 miles MB welcoming check up, and there is nothing to complain about.
I have been well alert with troubles & issues that have been lurking around the internet with the other unfortunate ML-350s, but none has happened to mine.
- The 7G-Tronic behaves silky smoothly, at different speeds, and driving conditions. There is a little bit of grinding when shifting gears, sometimes, but isn’t it normal ?
- It’s logged 21 MPG on the Hwy, and even 22 MPG when my wife is driving.
- I have checked the engine oil frequently, and absolutely no oil loss, even with the breaking in time like mine.
Let’s give MB quality a big applause (at least, for now !!)
