I see that it has an accident, but why all the electrical system services? This is the first time I have seen this on a carfax. Is there an electrical issue with this particular model? I am trying to find a place to get a ppi done.

You have or had a 98 320, so unless you were one of the lucky ones, you know that these vehicles do have a number of electronic issues - no matter what year. My advice would be to find out what the accident was all about and then take a look and drive the vehicle. It looks like the owner lived with the collision repair for nearly 10K before they got rid of the truck - could be it was just a minor thing, I don't know!!! If you feel it's OK, have it inspected by a MB dealer and a good body shop. There's a list of TSBs for the ML you can find at NHSTA's ( ODI - Office of Defects Investigation ) or Wolfgang's site.

Thanks for the advice. I was one of the lucky one with the ML320. There were no significant issues until one of the cats got clogged at 150,000 miles. I am keeping my fingers crossed with the "new" w163 we will be getting.

Our 01 ML55 had the only problem with fuel pump in over 1 year of ownership.
Having the same things repaired several times gives info about quality of the mechanic, not the car.
Those models have bulletproof frame. I restored the ML320 that was rear-ended by X5 at close to 40 mph. The insurance total the truck, while only damaged frame member was bumper reinforcement.
Cosmetic repairs is another story, but lot of panels get replaced as whole, so if that is the case the only real concern would be the paint job.
MB paint looks good for 20 years. Lot of USA paint comes off after 3 years, while the car is driven on the freeway. My friend had GM truck. The facility making warranty repainting in Bay Area was booked for 10 months.
