Hi all,

No WIS at work and need something I can see on my phone. I'm lookng for the two pictures (maybe more, don't remember) that show how to lift both sides (left/right) at the same time. One shows the jacking point somewhere near under the engine at the frame (to lift both front wheels off the ground), and one shows where to lift in the rear center (to get both rear wheels off the ground).

Reason for this is I need the regular jacking points free to put the jack/safety stands under. I need both sides (left/right) off the ground at the same time so I'm not working against the stabilizer/anti-roll bar.

Thanks!

Here you are Paulo..!! It's listed under 00.60...and "Jacking". For once I was able to find it easily....

BW is not happy this AM and doesn't want to load these 3 attachments.

....but ..I'll keep trying...👍
Good day. Any chance if sending me yhe pics of the jack poins for W245. I cant see you pics here. Hamiltonoertelsnyman@gmail.com. Many thanks

That's funny. Your pictures showed up before, but don't see them now. Maybe it'll sort itself out in a while.

Yes, I'm careful. Gotta follow what I preach, lol. Will lift up car on the points shown, then will slide jack stands under the 'regular' lift points, without getting under. Once the wheels are off, they'll be slid underneath too just for good measure.

I'm lifting the front, then back for checking stuff (steering/suspension play, and rest of underneath like belts hoses lines, exhaust, etc.). Won't have both ends raised at the same time.

Paulo...If you get the chance....and take some of the plastic panels off,....Please take pics of the underbody components that you see.

There are pieces underneath that I have no idea what their purpose is. They have German on them. One is a large round black canister.."for example".

If you are able to examine the rubber belt that drives the alternator etc,. then tell us what you see. I find that space is so very tight and it's hard to examine properly..

Any info and pics of your findings would be greatly appreciated here. I might change the plugs sometime this year..,..(just for the hell of it) ..and maybe I can improve on my B's fuel economy.

I will also post pics of anything related to what I find "down under"...

@Devours, it is all MB, but I want it for the w245 so I can see which oil pan heater size to install. Since there are no block heaters for the w245 B200. May be a coolant heater from zeroheat installed at the bottom. Might do this when I flush the coolant. The Webasco parking heater for 1.5k is not worth it.
