So yesterday I got some after market headlights that I waited about a month for, I was getting ready to install them and I searched videos on how to install them and the first step was taking off the bumper. I thought this was pretty easy and the first step was to turn the wheel all the way to one direction to get to the inner fender wall easier so I could undo the bolts that connect the fender to the bumper. I did that portion and went in my car to turn it on again to turn it the other direction and low and behold something happened, my car would start and my wheel was locked all the way to the left side. Whenever I tried putting in my key it would immediately say “take key from ignition”. I thought what happened so I thought it might’ve been the battery but when I put it on a charger and charged it to full it still would do the same thing. So I continued with the install and completely finished with it and went back to the issue at hand because I thought maybe putting everything back together would fix the issue but it didn’t. So I did some searching but couldn’t really find anything that would help but tried to take out a fuse and put it back in and I also tried removing the battery and putting it back in and still nothing. In the end I’m getting my car towed to the dealership to see what they could find and with a good amount of force I was able to get the wheels straight again but still was unable to start my car. I’m wondering if anyone had any issue like mine or if anyone knew of something that could be screwed up. Any help would be appreciated and would help me feel better.
