OK...right now I have a 98' CLK320 and am thinking about selling it and getting a used 320 say around 2000-2001. My first question is when did mercedes update the mirrors and remove the side markers? What are the differences between a 98' and a 00' or 01'?

My second questions is how many body kits does Carlsson make for the CLK, and how many kits does Brabus make for the CLK? Do you guys have pictures of them all? I'm trying to decide between the two...the other day I saw a Carlsson kit and must say it looked fabulous. The front bumper looked like a complete bumper replacement, it had the mesh and 2 projector like fogs.

And one last thing, does anyone know if the supercharger from the C32 would work with the CLK320 motor? What are my options for supercharger or turbocharger kits? I don't know very much about performance for benz'. I have a turbocharged Audi also that is highly modified and I would like the CLK to have some grunt as well.

I see....

Thanks alot for the info. Very helpful. I've never even head of MH-Dezent. FAB sesign, and Inden design. How's the fitment of their kits compared to Carlson, Brabus, or Lorinser? Does Lorinser still make a kit for the CLK 00+? Do you know how many kits Brabus, Carlson, and Lorinser make, are their kits polyurethane? I will not put any imitation kits on, NO FIBERGLASS for me, I hate that stuff, cheap quality, poor fitment, chips, and always a bitch to paint if you don't block it right.

Re: I see....

MH-Dezent kits are fiberglass. FAB and Inden, not really sure. Lorinser has kits available. They have two nice ones for 00+ models like the DTM bumper and the regular bumper with slats.
Both full bumper replacements and are made of polyurethane. The Carlsson and Brabus kits I think are poly also but the RS kit Carlsson brought out was fiber glass.

Here's Peter's CLK with the Lorinser DTM kit :

Go visit wheelexperts.com and to see more pictures and other kits available.
