Hey guys, need part numbers for the fuel filter on a 1975 450SL with the D-Jetronic system. This year there were two systems: D & K-jetronic. Mine is a D-jetronic and need the part numbers for this specific system. If you guys need the VIN, please let me know, thanks

Regards
Sam

You're welcome Sam, please confirm once you got it if it's correct - you'll save somebody else a headscratcher :D

I'll save some head scratching. If it is a D-Jet it is 000 092 76 01.

If I'm not mistaken late model 1975 450SLs were equipped with the K jetronic systems.

I think you are mistaken. According to Brian Long's book all '75 model years had M117.982 engine which is D-Jet.
It is possible that a 450SL in in another country may be titled as a '75 because some countries show model year as the year first purchased. A K-Jet 450SL built November 1975 could be registered as a '75 over there. I think that is where the confusion comes in.
