Looking for a mobile Tech in Miami Florida to get a 1998 Mercedes Benz SL500 started. It was running great until recently, and suddenly won't start. The engine turns over, but it doesn't start. Checking the fuel line under the hood, it looks like there's no fuel coming to the engine. After reading earlier posts, we bought a new fuel pump relay (meter tests showed the old one was bad) and installed it, but it still doesn't start. Testing at the fuel pump relay socket show that the fuel pump makes a sound (it's not dead) when activated.

Is it possible the fuel pump relay was the answer, but there's something else I need to do before it will start? If not, a mobile tech would be great as further repairs are a little beyond my abilities. Thanks in advance for your replies.

If the fuel pump runs, Change the Crankshaft position sensor, Its directly behind the drivers side (US car) cylinder head. They DO fail quite often. And after you get it repaired, Please fill out your COMPLETE PROFILE!!!!
