Need help with window lifters !

Does anyone have same problems with 1991 windowlifter, i have repaired the right backdoor lifter twice in 6 months... Any advice how to keep them working more than that !?!?

replace mine

Openend the rear window to let a bee out, CRASH glass dropped into the door. It looked like the bracket the cable attached to (made of plastic) snapped. I called the service dept and they knew which window it was before I told them. It seems to be a frequent problem.
