it looks like there are 3 main mounting plates that go on the rear bumper to install a pintle hitch on this truck.

The first has the sides bent in to form around the bumper support bar. Obviously goes inside the bumper in front of the bumper support plate.

Second is the heavy mounting fixture. Probably goes at the rear-most of the installation.

the third is a flat plate with a u-shaped hook on the bottom. Does this go between the bumper and the mounting fixture?

I will try to get pictures up tomorrow.

Thanks!!!

Well, look at all the pics you got before I could get my a$$ outside and take a look at the doka!

Sorry, no flat plate with a hook in it on my Doka. Looks like you got a pic with its location already though! I did see something else you are missing. I've got a giant ruber boot on the back side of the hitch up under the bumper...

Some more pics to add to the pile!

dont think it would be right to call that a bumper that it attaches to. Better called a part of the frame; a "cross member" you might say.

Yes, let me correct myself and call it the rear-most frame crossmember. Little bit wordy, but the idea gets across either way.

Thanks for the help! Now to find where the plate with a hook walked off to last night.

No correction necessary. The remainder of the world knew what you were talking about LOL
hmmmm. lets recap

. No pintel hitch on the mog
. member asks about bumper mount
. member is a newbie, maybe new to mogs too

soooo is that a newbie miss use of term bumper or has this newbie ended up with a mog where someone removed the pintel and added a bumper? One should never assume thus the question asked in the first responce on this topic.

If we as old members also are saying "bumper.. and he has an add on bumper.... our responces won't make since till he realizes were talking about a cross member and not a bumper.

ahhhh never mind LOL
