Can anyone point me to a How-To, preferably with pictures? I changed the filters on my 1985 300TD Biodiesel many times, but I'd hate to miss a step on my first attempt on the 'new' 1993 300D.

Many Thanks,
Jonathan

The fuel filters should be very similar between the two models you've identified, as are the R&R procedures. The big difference is that your new car doesn't have a manual primer pump. I always fill up the large filter with ATF to help the pump avoid a long priming process.

Still struggling

Thanks, Zeitgeist, but I'm afraid that's not enough for me to go on. I'm hoping for a step by step with pictures, as I'm not sure where the filters are... I don't know what R&R procedures are... and I'm not sure how I would remove air bubbles without a manual pump.
