So after removing dash, replacing all 6 acuators and 1 switchover valve I plugged in the control unit to simulate the system and check to see if all acuators are working properly. Well the system has the same symptom it had before I pulled the dash.
Is this control unit bad?? It turns off and on, the A/C and heater both work, but all the air still directs to the windshield. WTF Any ideas guys?

Can the control unit(the one I am holding? be partially bad?

the moral of the story is: always check the simplest thing first!!
I found 2 dis-connected vacuum lines near the fuse box. Now all actuators work!
I think I should replace this 4 way vacuum line, the openings are stretched out!

G'day Minkoff, great post - but yours is the ACC system, not the HVAC system (yes technically it is) but please, some of us with the simple HVAC system get very excited when we see HVAC and disappointed when it turns out to be ACC.

Theres not too many of us HVAC's around! :)
